Norwegian hip-hop stalwarts (Oslo represent!) Ol’ Burger Beats and Vuyo return for an album of jazz-tinged crowd pleasers. As the title suggests, thematically this an album to open up dialogue, as Vuyo utilizes his east coast-influenced flow to explore topics ranging from the corporate co-optation of the Black Live Matter movement (“Summer of George”) to his own experiences with racism. Overall Dialogue is an incredibly pleasant listen that’s also thought provoking at times.
