You don’t hear about a lot of modern music coming out of Poland, but Warsaw-based trio Magneto might help change that. The band’s three musicians, all veterans of Warsaw’s burgeoning experimental jazz and rock scene, met early in last year’s lockdown and came together to record Requiem pour Satana. Steeped in all things psychedelia, the album is an ethereal blend of dreamy instrumentals that combine laid back surf rock with elements of Turkish funk and Hawaiian hula. Very relaxing, very dope.
